Privacy policy

Respect for your privacy and your personal data is a priority for SUEZ EAU France, whose head office is located at Tour CB 21, 16 place de l’Iris, 92040 Paris la Défense Cedex (hereinafter the ” Data Controller”).
This privacy policy covers data processing related to the provision of water services to consumers (users, subscribing customers, prospects) and portal users, hereinafter referred to as “Consumers” and “Portal” respectively.
The Data Controller undertakes in any case to respect the following two (2) essential principles:

  • You remain in control of your personal data;
  • Your data is processed in a transparent, fair, confidential and secure manner.

The processing of personal data is governed:

• By law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms;
• By Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, which entered into force on May 25, 2018 (hereinafter “GDPR”).

Purposes and legal bases

The processing of your personal data is carried out for the purposes and on the basis of the following legal bases:

  • Improve the user experience by collecting statistics reported by the subcontractor Piano Analytics.

The data collected for processing has a legitimate interest as its legal basis.

Personal data is collected indirectly from the subcontractor Piano Analytics. The personal data collected is anonymized by the subcontractor Piano Analytics. The different categories of personal data collected by Piano Analytics are as follows:

The Data Controller does not collect personal data. Personal data is collected indirectly by the
subcontractor Piano Analytics.

In the event of transfer of Data outside the European Union, the Data Controller ensures that the destination country has been the subject of an adequacy decision by the European Commission or with which we have set up European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.

In accordance with the applicable regulations on personal data, Consumers have a right of access, rectification, erasure, opposition and limitation of processing.
In order to exercise your rights, you can contact us either by logging into your customer area accessible from the Portal or by means of the contact form available on the Portal.
If the processing of your request does not suit you, you can then write by email to the address privacy.consulting@suez.com or by post to the Data Protection Officer of the Data Controller, CB21 tower, 16 place de l’Iris, 92040 La Défense, specifying your customer number, surname, first name and address. To find out more about your rights, you can consult the CNIL website (www.cnil.fr/fr/les-droits-pour-maitriser-vos-donnees-personnelles).

Security and privacy

The Data Controller and its service providers undertake to implement all technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of our processing of personal data and the confidentiality of your data, in application of the Data Protection Act and of the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and of Law No. 2018-133 of February 26, 2018 “on various provisions for adaptation to European Union law in the field of security”.

As such, the Data Controller takes the necessary precautions, with regard to the nature of your data and the risks presented by our processing, to preserve the security of the data and, in particular, to prevent them from being distorted, damaged, or unauthorized third parties have access to it (physical protection of the premises, authentication process for our customers with personal and secure access via confidential identifiers and passwords, logging of connections, encryption of certain data, etc.).

When you give your consent, the Piano Analytics service (AT Internet) switches to “opt-in”, it is required to process personal data.
At any time moment, you can choose to withdraw this consent. In this case, the Piano Analytics service (AT Internet) will return to “essential” mode.

Piano Analytics (opt-out mode)

The “opt-out” option set up by the Piano Analytics service (AT Internet) allows you to exclude data from your browsing on this website or this application, which uses the audience measurement service of Piano Analytics (AT Internet), which collects statistical data there.
